Womb Wisdom | The Four Phases of Menstruation
Join Hannah for the first weekly series of Womb Wisdom, where as a group we will be exploring the four phases of the menstrual cycle. Every week we will honour each phase of the cycle, using the seasons as inspiration for living in harmony with nature and tuning into ourselves as cyclical beings.
We will explore:
- Some of the physical and emotional experiences often present during each cycle
- Hormones and hormone health
- Unique experiences and disruptions to menstruation and regular cycles
- Ways to connect to your unique body and how to live more in harmony with your cycle
We will practice:
- Movement, postures and embodiment practices to support you during that cycle phase
- Somatic awareness and meditation to help connect you to yourself, how you’re feeling and in particular your womb space
- Self massage and touch
- Breathwork and vocal work
- Sharing and reflections - both in the group and individually
Practices will change depending on which phase we are focusing on that week. Please note, you don’t need to be experiencing that phase of your cycle on that given week, and you also don’t need to have a regular menstrual cycle to attend. This is open to all menstruators regardless of whether you bleed each month or not, or have a condition which alters your cycle.
This is a safe and open space to connect to your womb wisdom, and plan your life in harmony with your body and cycle.
As part of the Womb Wisdom series, join Julie and Hannah for a New Moon Sharing Circle where we will spend 90 minutes exploring the energy of the new moon and how this may influence you as a woman. There will be space for a short practice and then time for sharing. A chance to connect to yourself and other women.
Join for the full series or individual sessions. We recommend to join for all of the sessions (Womb Wisdom 4 Phases of the Menstrual Cycle and the 2 New Moon Sharing Circles) as it is the best way to integrate the teachings and anything that might come up for you.
