On Saturday 11th May, Open Hearts will host visiting Vedic Meditation teacher Blaise DeAngelo for a free talk demystifying the idea of meditation and explaining the role of Vedic Meditation as a systematic solution for the silent stress epidemic.
Vedic Meditation is a simple mental technique shown to provide a level of rest many times deeper than sleep, by using a personalized Sanskrit mantra that works with the natural tendency of the mind to think thoughts, de-exciting the mind to a level of supreme inner contentedness at which exponential stress release is possible. No focus or concentration is required, and anyone can do it—even those who think they “can’t meditate.”⠀
Blaise is one of less than 200 teachers in the world with the blessing of Maharaji Swami Kailashanand Giri, the undisputed and preeminent Master of all the Masters of India. He has trained more than 3,000 hours with one of the world’s most enlightened Masters, Maharishi Vyasanand Sarasvati, and is recognized as a teacher in the gold standard of the prestigious Shankaracharya tradition of India, in the lineage of the late Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
